Check up and clean

Having regular check ups every six month will help keep your mouth healthy. A comprehensive examination at Capalaba Park Dental involves a thorough examination of your mouth, teeth and gums in a virtually pain free environment. After the examination, the dentist will discuss any further treatment required and the different options available.

Following the examination, a scale and polish is performed to remove any plaque or tartar build up using an ultrasonic scaler. This knocks off the tartar and provides a deep clean above and below the gum line.

Dental x-rays are also advised every two years to give the dentist a good view of any decay between the teeth as well as identifying any abscesses or impacted teeth.
